Tyler Perry: “Black Panther” Was Shot At My Studio
Tyler Perry is celebrating the success of “Black Panther” and revealing that part of the Marvel movie was filmed at his Tyler Perry studios. Tyler posted an image of his studio writing:
Welcome to Wakanda! You wanna talk about black history! These are the new stages at Tyler Perry Studios. And guess what the first film to shoot on one of the stages was?!
The director and playwright’s studio was founded in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia. The studio occupies two former Delta Air Lines affiliated buildings in the Greenbriar area of southwest Atlanta, and includes 200,000 square feet (19,000 m2) of sets and office space. The Walking Dead television series uses Tyler Perry Studios to film ‘The Kingdom’ scenes in the latest 2017 season of The Walking Dead.
