Columbus Short Texted Karrine Steffans When He Was In Jail – I Love You!

Rumor has it, Columbus Short is still shooting his shot with ex wife, Karrine Steffans. Earlier this month, Short, known for his break-out role in ‘Scandal’, was released early from jail. He posted the message below on social media after his release.

He had received a one-year sentence for allegedly beating his current wife, Aida Abramyan, but only served 34 days.

Steffans recently revealed that Short had allegedly been contacting her, while married to current wife.  The best selling author claims he texted her,

I wish I could just become the biggest movie star on the planet, wisk [sic] you away to another country and live our lives.

She also says that while he was in jail, Short told her that he loves her and texted her,

I’ve never loved a woman other than Tanee more than loved you [sic]. 

Steffans also accuses Short of being a bigamist. theJasmineBRAND broke the story back in 2016, that the pair had secretly married.

Steffans believes that Short may have been married to another woman when he married her. She says that she didn’t know he was married at the time, and she says that he tried to get back with her once he had moved on to his next wife.

Short has publicly denied that he and Steffans were ever married and Steffans believes that he hasn’t been truthful about their marriage because he was still married to actress Tanee McCall.

Steffans explains,

I’ve been silent in the press for two years, but I’m tired of all the lies they tell about me.

Short’s wife, Aida, who is also his publicist, denies Steffans claims.
