Fabolous Will Plead Guilty To Lesser Charge After Allegedly Knocking Emily B’s Teeth Out During Domestic Dispute
It looks like rapper Fabolous can “breathe” when it comes to his domestic dispute with longtime girlfriend, stylist and former Love and Hip Hop New York star, Emily B. This past March, the rapper (born John Jackson) surrendered to New Jersey police after Emily accused him of violently attacking her. According to Bossip, since he is a first time offender, New Jersey’s Bergen County Superior Court will allow him to take a plea deal to avoid jail time. The site reports that this deal – called a pre-trial intervention deal – entails that Fabolous will plea guilty for a lesser charge.
He will likely be sentenced to a diversion program that lasts anywhere from six months to a couple years. If he successfully completes the program, the charges could be removed from his records. He initially faced up to 15 years in prison.
Emily has been seen accompanying Fabolous in court, despite their files citing his terroristic threats and details of a brutal attack. He allegedly punched her in the head several times, severely injuring her mouth to the point of having to have teeth surgically removed.
Emily even posted a sweet Father’s Day message to the rapper on Instagram and instructed followers not to bash him. She wrote,
Happy Father’s Day @myfabolouslife ! Thank you for being such an amazing father to our children!
She continued,
IF YOU SAY ONE NEGATIVE THING ON MY PAGE OR EVEN LIKE A NEGATIVE COMMENT- I WILL BLOCK YOU.. #POSITIVEVIBESONLY
Fabolous and Emily share two young sons – Johan and Jonas, and co-parent her daughter, Taina.
Do you agree with Emily’s decision to reconcile?
