Cardi B Criticized After Admitting She Robbed & Drugged Men In Her Past To Survive [VIDEO]

Cardi B is continuing to ride an enormous and unprecedented wave of success ever since she dropped her smash signature hit, “Bodak Yellow.” The awards, accolades and endorsements continue to pile up and now she’s set to make her feature film debut alongside Jennifer Lopez. However, an old issue from her past is threatening to take some of the shine away from hip-hop’s golden girl.

Cardi B’s personality and her unadulterated openness are a few of the reasons why she rose to success so fast, unfortunately that openness is coming back to haunt her. In an old video that is spreading on social media, Cardi is seen discussing her difficult past in the streets and the things she had to do to survive—some of which were illegal. She admitted that she used to drug men and rob them when she was heavy in the streets, living the life of a

“hood b**ch.”

Now, that video has gotten Cardi’s critics in an uproar and inspired the hashtag #SurvivingCardiB, which is of course, a take on the R. Kelly documentary, Surviving R. Kelly.

In the video, Cardi says:

“N***as must’ve forgot, my n***a, the s**t that I did to muthaf**kin’ survive. I had to go strip. I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you wanna f**k me? Yeah yeah yeah, let’s go back to this hotel.’ And I drugged n***as up and I robbed them. That’s what I used to do. Nothing was muthaf**kin’ handed to me, my n***a. Nothing!”

It unclear when the video was filmed and at press time, Cardi has not responded to it or the criticism she’s facing. Interestingly, this video surfaced just as Cardi filed a lawsuit against two bloggers who claimed that she was a prostitute in the past. This bit of information has many of Cardi’s fans suspecting that the bloggers in question leaked the video as a form of revenge.
