Russell Wilson Thanks God For Ciara & Children On Signing Day As He Becomes The Highest Paid NFL Player
Russell Wilson is all smiles, as he signs a contract extension, which ultimately makes him the highest paid NFL player. He attended the signing day with wife Ciara, daughter Sienna and stepson Future Zahir. He posted a photo of the trio, captioning it:
My joy. My life. My everything. I thank God everyday for you 3! Love you all!
And here’s a sweet family moment at the press conference.

As previously reported, the Seattle Seahawks star quarterback is now the top-paid player in the NFL thanks to a new $140 million contract he signed with the team. He has already received $65 million from the signing bonus. The contract is good for four years, making Wilson’s run with the team extended to 2023, according to reports.
Wilson posted a video on Twitter on the deal Tuesday morning but certainly didn’t reveal the details about how much he’ll be bringing in. He did reassure his Seattle Seahawks fans that he was able to come to an agreement with the team.
“Hey Seattle, we got a deal.”
His wife Ciara was also all smiles and added,
“Go Hawks.”

His video came just after the midnight deadline his people gave the Seahawks. If the team didn’t provide him with a sufficient offer by then, he wasn’t going to renegotiate the contract.
His agent, Mark Rodgers, also said,
“At the end of the day, my guy wants to live, work, thrive in Seattle. Loves this town and its fans. He compromised to stay here. I respect that.”
Before this deal, he signed an $87.5 million contract in 2015, that was set to expire in 2019. He was scheduled to make $17 million this year.
