Fans now know why Kodak Black cancelled a concert at the last minute. Reportedly, the rapper was caught with weapons and drugs at the U.S. Border. U.S. Customs Agents stopped Kodak Black and three others at the border Wednesday, according to reports. He was taken into custody for criminal possession of a weapon, which is a second-degree felony, and a misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Alleged insiders said Kodak had at least two guns with him when he tried to get back into the U.S. from Canada. It is said that he made a trip to Canada after performing in Detroit Saturday night. But now, he’s facing legal woes after his attempt to get back into the states.
He’s still currently behind bars with a bond of $20,000 in cash or $40,0000.
His arrest seems to be the answer of why he canceled his Wednesday night concert at The House of Blues. Fans were already at the venue waiting for the rapper to make his highly-anticipated appearance, but he never showed up. His team at the time had no clue why Kodak Black was a no show and had difficulty even contacting him or anyone else who was traveling with him. The House of Blues confirmed the cancellation on Twitter.

Along with Kodak Black’s then MIA status, there are also reports that a fight broke out as the concert causing police to arrive and shut everything down. Streets were blocked off as large crowds of people screamed at each other as some got physical.
This isn’t the only legal issue Kodak Black is facing this year. He was officially charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl earlier this month. He allegedly assaulted her in a hotel room, leaving injuries that were confirmed in her rape kit. She didn’t inform police of the incident right away, but she did tell a nurse at her high school. The incident dates back to 2016.
Kodak Black spoke on the incident weeks before he was charged.
