Yung Miami Releases ‘Act Up’ Video Ft. Lil Yachty
PERIODT! The fresh, in your face Miami duo, City Girls are back with their latest visual for the hit single, ‘Act Up.’ The Girl Code hit initially arrived back in November, but after the single’s continued success, peaking at number 12 on the Hot 100 Billboard, they’ve finally shared the official video.

In the video, Yung Miami (real name Caresha Brownlee) goes solo around the beautiful city of Miami, Florida while credited writer on the song, fellow Quality Control artist Lil Yachty acts as a reporter explaining how the #ActUpChallenge is swarming social media, actually shutting down spring break. He hinted at collaborating on the song last month saying,
“I know them personally, and I know what women like to hear. What’s some like, raunchy sh*t? I just started saying it, and before I went in the booth I said ‘no homo, y’all’ because all my boys was in the room.”

While rapper Yung Miami acts up around the Miami streets, as to be expected, JT (real name Jatavia Johnson) doesn’t make an appearance in the video due to her current prison sentence for fraud. Her legal team filed a motion earlier this month to have the rapper moved from prison to a halfway house so that she could continue to record music with Yung Miami, however, the judge decided against allowing her an early release.
In the video, several spring breakers sing along to JT’s verse from the beaches of Miami all the way to the convenience stores. A Miami police officer caught some camera time, singing the catchy hook.
