The Mothers of Nipsey Hussle’s Children Mourn Rapper On Father’s Day, His Family Alleges Tanisha Foster Is An Unfit Parent
This is the Asghedom family’s first Father’s Day without slain rapper Nipsey Hussle, and not only are his children, Emani and Kross, missing him – their mothers are, as well.
Both Lauren London and Tanisha Foster took to Instagram with loving words about their late children’s father. Lauren posted a photo of Nipsey and Baby Kross with the following caption:
“One of the reasons I fell in Love with You…. Your Fatherhood Today we celebrate You Love you Ermias”
Lauren also had an encouraging word for fatherless women and mothers of fatherless children.
Tanisha Foster openly mourned Nipsey, noting a Father’s Day tradition they had before he was tragically killed. She posted this Instagram Story message:
“I wish I can call you in tell you like I did every year I wish heaven had a phone Happy Father’s Day NH”
But social media love won’t land their daughter, Emani, back in Tanisha’s custody. According to reports, Nipsey’s family’s latest argument for why his sister, Samantha Smith, should be given permanent custody is Tanisha’s track record with her two older children. They say her own legal issues aren’t the only example of her being unfit.
Reportedly, Tanisha’s 18-year-old daughter has been in and out of juvenile detention centers since she was 12-years-old. She is currently being held for petty theft, and hasn’t been released yet due to a lack of a stable home to return to. The courts are also disappointed that the teenager hasn’t completed a GED program, and that Tanisha has allegedly never attended a single hearing on her behalf. Tanisha also has a 17-year-old son who, reportedly, doesn’t live with her and doesn’t attend school regularly.
Tanisha Foster’s next court date regarding custody of she and Nipsey Hussle’s daughter is scheduled for next month.
