Kodak Black Posts First Picture From Jail, Writes: ‘Lawyers Sittin Back Suckin All A N***as Funds’
Kodak Black is all smiles while he’s behind bars. He shared is first snapshot from jail on social media Sunday. But he implied he was having problems with his lawyers. He wrote,
“The Streets Thin Na Cuz Everybody Gettin Hung .. Lawyers Sittin Back Suckin All A Nigga Funds #SG#10TOESDOWN“
His lawyer later confirmed that all is well between them and Kodak.
The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri has deleted all previous photos from his Instagram with the exception of a post from May 20.
In that picture, he gave fans details on how they could write him while he’s in Miami Federal Detention Center.

Kodak has been in custody since May. He’s accused of lying on his gun applications. His attorneys requested that he be released on bail so he can handle his legal woes in South Carolina. Judge Federico Moreno denied the motion stating that Kodak is too big of a risk; especially since one of the guns he lied about was involved in a shooting in March, prosecutors say.
The Moreno said,
“I’m very concerned with the type of guns he wanted to get a hold of … and that he has a prior [criminal history]. He was out on bond [from the South Carolina case], and he committed an offense. I think he’s a danger to the community because he wants to have access to guns.”
His trial is set to start in September. And Kodak will have to stay in jail until then.
As for his case in South Carolina, Kodak has been charged with first-degree sexual assault amid allegations that he assaulted a high school student. The incident allegedly happened in a hotel room in February 2016. He’s accused of forcing her on the ground and biting and assaulting her while she pleaded with him to stop. He was released on $100,000 bail.
