Kim Kardashian & Ariana Grande Release Statements After Celeb Photog Accused Of Overcharging Women Who Don’t Send Nudes
Celebrity photographer, Marcus Hyde, 33, came under fire this week as an aspiring model revealed a few shocking alleged screenshots of their DM conversation on her Instagram story. As previously reported, Hyde negotiated a price of $2,000 to book his services as the model’s photographer or no charge if she sent him nude photos ahead of time.

After her post went viral, Sunnaya other aspiring and former model shared similar interactions with Hyde. On Tuesday, two of Hyde’s most notable clients, singer Ariana Grande and beauty mogul Kim Kardashian-West, both broke their silence on the recent allegations that their personal photographer offered multiple models a free photoshoot in exchange for nude pictures. Ariana says she was heartbroken by the stories she had read while encouraging girls not to shoot with anyone who makes them uncomfortable.
“I have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. I hate that this is a conversation but please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don’t want to. If you want to, sick but if you don’t, please don’t.”

Ariana continues, while never mentioning or using Hyde’s name.
“If they tell you you have to pay more money if you’re clothed that’s f–ked and I’m sorry that has happened to you. I promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there.”
Soon after, Kim took to social media to also address models who she calls a photographer she worked with in the past. She says,
“I have been reading all of the messages and stories from women regarding inappropriate and inexcusable behavior of a photographer that I have worked with in the past. My own experiences have always been professional, and I am deeply shocked, saddened and disappointed to learn that other women have had very different experiences.”

Kim adds,
“I stand in full support of every woman’s right to not be harassed, asked or pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with. We cannot allow this type of behavior to go unnoticed and I applaud those who speak out.”
