Actor Jonathan Majors of “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” is set to star in Jay-Z’s Netflix film, titled “The Harder They Fall.” The film’s story chronicles Jonathan’s character, Nat Love, who is seeking revenge on the murderer of his parents. Sources say “The Harder They Fall” will have musical similarities to “The Great Gatsby.” Jay-Z had a hand in curating “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack, as well.
“The Harder They Fall” will be British musician-turned-producer/filmmaker Jeymes Samuel‘s (better known as Bullitts) directorial debut. He, also, worked alongside Jay on “The Great Gatsby’s” soundtrack.
