Jussie Smollett’s PR Team Issues Statement: “Every iota of Jussie’s story was true!”
The saga of Jussie Smollett‘s alleged racist, homophobic attack in Chicago is not over. Despite Chicago police officers once declaring the attack was staged and charges later being dropped – the former “Empire” star is fighting a legal battle. He and is legal team are being asked to pay back the money used by Chicago police to investigate the attack.
Jussie Smollett’s public relations team issued a statement yesterday (8/28/19) in his defense:
“Every iota of information Smollett has stated has been fully corroborated.”
As we previously reported, sources detailed that Jussie is filing his own countersuit against the Chicago police for swaying public opinion about his attack, and:
“…for their conduct underlying the arrest and their conduct after.”
