Toya Wright – Man Who Fatally Shot Her Brothers Convicted & Sentenced To Life In Prison
The man who pulled the trigger and killed reality star Toya Wright’s brothers, Ryan “Rudy” Johnson and Josh Johnson, has reportedly been convicted on two counts of second-degree murder and was recently sentenced to life behind bars.
Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Judge Tracey Flemings-Davillier handed Edwards the mandatory life sentence Monday (Sept. 30).
While the Johnson family was present, none of them spoke at the sentencing, but they did display relief when the judge sentenced Edwards to life.
On Sept. 12, a jury in New Orleans found Antoine “Twezy” Edwards, 34, guilty after two hours of deliberation that followed a three-day trial.

Witnesses took the stand and said they saw Edwards in the area shortly after shots were fired on July 31, 2016. While Edwards’ attorney attempted to paint the witnesses in a negative light, stating they were paid informants, addicted to drugs, and known liars, it’s safe to say the jury took their accounts seriously and determined that Edwards was guilty.
Wright has not spoken out publicly about the sentencing.
She did open up about the loss shortly after.
She also spoke about the loss on Instagram as news of the shooting made headlines.

Prayers for Toya Wright and her family!
