Bernie Sanders Says He’s ‘Feeling So Much Better’ After Suffering Heart Attack
Bernie Sanders is ready to get back on the campaign trail after suffering health issues earlier this week.
It was previously reported that he had to undergo emergency surgery after having a blocked artery. His campaign released a statement and said that the Presidential candidate went to the hospital after having chest pains while at an event.

Now, Sanders is in better spirits at back at his campaign for President.
He wrote via social media,
“I’m feeling so much better. Thank you for all of the love and warm wishes that you sent me. See you soon on the campaign trail.”
He also gave a shout out to staff at the hospital where he received treatment.
“I want to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center for the excellent care that they provided. After two and a half days in the hospital, I feel great, and after taking a short time off, I look forward to getting back to work.”

And he’s also back at shading current President Donald Trump.

His wife, Jane O’Meara Sanders also gave an update.

We’re glad to see Bernie is doing well!
