Ava DuVernay Calls Out Twitter For Not Including Tyler Perry Studios Opening In Its Twitter Moments, Fans Say Its Response Was ‘Passive Aggressive’

Ava DuVernay has jumped to Tyler Perry’s defense after Twitter failed to include the opening of Tyler Perry Studios in its @TwitterMoments.

While major celebrities were in attendance at the opening, it never popped up in the social media site’s @TwitterMoments, and DuVernay took issue with that.

After not getting a response, she attempted to go a different route.

@TwitterMovies has since responded and admitted that it dropped the ball. Still, some aren’t necessarily happy about its comment.
