Kanye Premieres ‘Jesus Is King’ Album & Docu In L.A. [VIDEO]

Kanye West’s Jesus Is King projects have taken over L.A.

He premiered the highly anticipated forthcoming album and 35-minute film (both called Jesus Is King) at The Forum Wednesday (Oct. 23). Check out some of the moments below!

While Kanye West is fully gospel now, he reportedly was ready to walk away from the rap game after dedicating his life to Jesus recently.

Apologia, pastor Adam Tyson said,

“One time, he told me that he wasn’t going to rap. I said, ‘Why not?’”

He said Kanye West responded,

“‘That’s the devil’s music.’ I said, ‘Hey, man. Rap is a genre. You can rap for God.’”

West also rapped in his “Hands On” song,

“Said I’m gonna do a gospel album /?What have you been hearing from Christians? /?They’ll be the first ones to judge me /?Make me feel that nobody loves me.”
