Kodak Black Involved In Prison Fight, Security Guard Hospitalized After Rapper Kicked Him In The Groin
Kodak Black is still getting in trouble in jail.
According to reports, the rapper, who’s currently in Miami’s Federal Detention Center, got into a prison fight that left a security guard hospitalized, according to reports.
Kodak, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was allegedly fighting another inmate when a security guard tried to diffuse the situation. Kodak then reportedly kicked the guard in the groin. He was rushed to the hospital and had to get surgery.
Kodak is in custody awaiting his Nov. 13 sentencing after he entered a guilty plea for federal weapons charges. He’s accused of putting down false information on federal forms so he could buy weapons in a Miami gun store. One of those guns were said to be seized after a shooting in Pompano Beach in March.
His request for bail was previously denied as Judge Federico Moreno said,
“I’m very concerned with the type of guns he wanted to get a hold of … and that he has a prior [criminal history]. He was out on bond [from the South Carolina case], and he committed an offense. I think he’s a danger to the community because he wants to have access to guns.”
He could get up to eight years.
At the same time, Kodak is being charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a high school girl in a South Carolina hotel room in 2016. He was hit with those charges in April. According to police reports, Kodak forced the underaged girl on the bed and raped her as he bit her neck and breasts. She reportedly begged him to stop.
While she didn’t call police right away, her injuries were shown in a rape kit, and she reported the alleged incident to the school nurse, who later told officers on campus.
He’s facing up to 30 years in that case.
