Ashanti on Recovering From Foot Surgery: “Day 2 isn’t so bad!”
Singer Ashanti is stepping into 2020 with a new attitude – and a repaired foot! The beautiful New York native is taking a break from her busy tour schedule to take care of a nagging medical issue.

Yesterday, (11/7/19) she attempted to glamorize her hospital stay by wearing a fur Louis Vuitton monogram hat with her surgery gown. She captioned her Instagram Story video:
“They hatin on my hat..said I can’t wear it during surgery always gotta find the humor in these things”

After a successful foot surgery, she posed on her crutches with her family in tow.

Ashanti gave fans an update on her recovery process, calling day two “not bad.”

Ashanti better rest up! She has work to do! She recently posed for the cover of the fifth installment of rapper/singer Tory Lanez‘s mixtape series, “Chixtape.” She’s also gearing up for a European tour run with fellow R&B favorites, Ginuwine and Mario.
