Mo’Nique – Flame Monroe Lashes Out At Comedian, Questions Her Husband’s Sexuality ‘Who Is Daddy Calling Daddy?’
Comedian Flame Monroe had plenty to say about Mo’Nique, and her husband Sidney Hicks. Flame Monroe, who is a comedian and transgender woman said on Fox Soul,
“Here’s the funniest part, you tore me down for my lifestyle, and then turned around and married my lifestyle.”
Flame Monroe added,
“You’ve been knowing me all these years, gay bashing don’t work with me. I’m from the West Side of Chicago… “
When questioned about calling out Mo’Nique for marrying the same “type”, Flame said,
“Stevie Wonder can see that… The question is, who is Daddy calling Daddy?”
Interestingly enough, just last month she also explained why Mo’Nique’s late-night talk show went off the air on BET after two seasons.
Flame claimed that it was because Mo’Nique came for BET’s President, Debra Lee, in a stand-up comedy routine.
“She got on stage talking about her alter ego and tearing Debra Lee down. Let me tell you how boss Debra is… Mo’Nique and her crew showed up the next morning… imagine having all your s***, wigs, makeup, in the dollies out on the lot. You can’t even come in here. Ms. Debra Lee plays no games. She tore Debra Lee apart on stage.”
She added,
“Everybody blames the downfall on that husband. Now he has played a major part, but she’s a mess.”
