Iggy Azalea & Playboi Carti’s Rental Home Robbed Of $360K In Jewelry, Engagement Ring Possibly Taken

UPDATE: Iggy Azalea has taken to social media and denied reporting that an engagement ring was taken and said she’s not engaged.

Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti are the latest victims of a celebrity robbery.

And this one just might have revealed an engagement.

The two, have been reportedly dating for over a year, told police that $336,000 worth of jewelry was taken from their rental home in the Atlanta area.

Among the items stolen is a gold link Cuban chain worth $39,000, diamond eternity band rings worth $70,000 and a rose gold Cartier bracelet priced at $10,000.

While an Audemar Piguet gold diamond-encrusted watch (worth $57,000) was also allegedly stone, much of the chatter has revolved around the possibility that a $35,000 diamond engagement was taken as well, sparking rumors that Playboi Carti proposed to the Australian rapper.

Iggy Azalea was actually at the home during the robbery earlier this month.

She said that she was in the basement and heard walking on the second floor, but thought it was Playboi Carti; especially since she left the backdoor unlocked for him. She told police that it was raining so she wanted him to be able to get into the home easier.

Still, when looking at surveillance footage, a person wearing a dark mask and gloves is spotted making their way into the house shortly before 10:00 pm. They were there for roughly seven minutes. There’s no recording of the suspect inside the home.

Carti told police the burglar had a gun with him, but this hasn’t been proven yet.

The couple moved in together in Atlanta just months after they started dating last year.
