Wendy Williams & Nene Leakes Spotted Together In NYC

How you doing! Over the weekend (Nov. 23rd), daytime talk host Wendy Williams and Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Nene Leakes spent a girls night out in the New York City streets together. The duo shared their encounter on Instagram with a photo op while they were enjoying dinner. In the photo from Williams, 55, both wore their signature blond hair both parted down the middle. Williams captioned the post:

“Yassss. Blowing off steam. Grown girl Saturday with Nene Leakes! Great night, NYC!”

The media queens both seem to enjoy their night at dinner eating chicken satay hot and sour soup with an entree of shrimp, lobster, with crispy spinach.

Williams is seen wearing a long-sleeved black top in the photo while Leakes, 51, ways a more revealing look in a black lace top tank with skinny straps. Leakes did share the same image. Leakes used the hashtag “We keep it 100,” as the duo have continued bond after years of fighting. The RHOA Star wrote,

“What’s a Saturday nite in NYC without Wendy Williams.” 

In 2016, NeNe addressed their fallout stating:

“I have never had a problem with Wendy, let’s be clear! I have never had a problem with Wendy. Every week on her show she began speaking negatively about me. When her show first started out and it was doing well, I bought her a bag. Not to brag about what it was or to make a big deal out of it — because no one knew until she brought it up and started doing this sh*t.”

“I’ve been on her show several times — all of a sudden she starts bashing me every single week. The one time I came back and let Wendy know that she was not going to be doing that — she all of a sudden starting having an issue with me and never spoke to or about me again, as far as I know.

If she spoke to me today, I would speak to her. I don’t hold a grudge. I want to support Wendy. It’s not in my heart to not support another successful Black woman, but that’s just how it is right now.”

Fast forward years later, and both women have moved forward and can’t get enough of one other. Since Williams ended her marriage with husband Kevin Hunter earlier this year, the daytime talk host continues to socialize more.
