City Girls Reunite In First Song w/ “You Tried It” [LISTEN]
City Girls are back! Period! JT and Yung Miami reunite on their first single together since JT’s released from prison in October for alleged fraudulent credit card charges. The Miami rap duo delivered on Wednesday (Nov. 27th), a new bouncy track titled, “You Tried It,” produced by DJ Chose. Yung Miami took to Instagram to reveal the City Girls definition of “You Tried It.” The definition says,
“When a hoe tries to play you and fails.”

Prior to JT being released this year, Yung Miami spoke about JT’s absence stating:
“It’s a minor setback for a major comeback because it’s a movement. Everybody know JT now. When she come back, everyone will be paying attention. When she get out, she gon’ be big. God brought us this far.”

JT dropped her post-prison track “First Day Out” the same day she was released to a halfway house on Oct. 8. Later that month, prior to being released, JT described what she felted like her vision for her post-prison sound would be. She says
“I said I want my beat to be like Meek Mill and Cardi B – Get Up The First day out, Tee Grizzley song.”
