While the King of Pop passed away more than 10 years ago, his Twitter page is still going strong, a clearly a fan of Safaree Samuels’s Michael Jackson impersonation.

The verified Twitter account for Michael Jackson shared a video of Safaree Samuels channeling his inner MJ and his and his wife Erica Mena’s baby shower for their unborn daughter. 

Whoever is running Jackson’s Twitter wrote,

“Ooh! He’s a smooth criminal!”

And Samuels couldn’t help but fan out. He replied,

“YOOOOO ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? Wtffffff MICHAEL JACKSON”

He also showed his excitement on Instagram.

He wrote,

Still, fans weren’t necessarily that supportive as many joked that Samuels didn’t know that Jackson didn’t send the message.
