Jamie Foxx Going On Stand-Up Tour, Says He Would Want Eddie Murphy To Go With Him: I Think It’s Our Time
Are two legends preparing to share the stage? Comedian/actor/singer Jamie Foxx sat down with Ellen Degeneres to share some super funny impressions of his celebrity friends, like Jay-Z and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and revealed that he’s returning to his roots: stand-up comedy. His previous stand-up tours, which infused comedy and his love for music, are still relevant today. Chance the Rapper even used a sample of one of his bits in the 2018 song, “I Might Need Security.”
But Jamie Foxx would like to add one legendary element to make this tour even more interesting: Eddie Murphy. Jamie told this to Ellen:
“…I would. I would go on tour with Eddie, because I think it’s our time. You haven’t heard from him in a minute, and you haven’t heard from me and I got it.”

This could be possible since Eddie Murphy previously said he’d quit acting for stand-up.
Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx also shared what we can expect from his upcoming tour.
“I want to take you on a little bit of an adventure…I’m gonna start at all of the places I started out at, meaning all the clubs like Faneuil Hall in Boston, all the clubs where I started, because I want it to be intimate.”
Would you cop tickets to see Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy on one stage?
