Loni Love Cries On ‘The Real’ While Explaining “Growing Up In The Projects, We At What We Could”, Viewers Question Amanda Seales’ Facial Expression
Actress/activist Amanda Seales has been a power addition to the award-winning talk show, “The Real” – adding both historical and hilarious context to “Girl Chat” with Tamera Mowry-Housely, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, and Loni Love. But Wednesday’s (March 4) episode was especially hilarious to some fans of the show – ironically, during the show’s Weight Watchers point demonstration.

Loni Love grew emotional while explaining why many African Americans suffer from obesity-related illnesses, due to lack of proper nutrition. Through tears, she said:
“Let me tell y’all: I did not know how to eat. Growing up in the projects, we just had to eat what we could. I know it sounds funny, but a lot of women in African-American communities- we don’t know how to eat. ‘Cause we grew up that way. So I’m trying to tell y’all- thank you to WW, because we want to do this to help our brothers and sisters.”
