Tina Lawson Tells Social Media Critic: First Of All, I’m Not A Girl — Get Off My Page!
Tina Knowles’s latest corny joke segment turned into a brief reading session on Instagram.
The beauty guru responded to a critic who not only came for her hairstyle, but also told her to “disappear.”
They wrote,
“Girl, take them bangs and disappear with your daughter and grandchildren for a little while. We don’t need this right now.”
Tina Knowles’ response?
“First of all I am not a girl. So try to conjure up a little respect and secondly if you don’t need it then get off my page and go where you like what you see. With love…”

She’s certainly no stranger to setting someone straight on social media. Just last month, she defended her son-in-law, Jay-Z, amid criticism he received for his controversial partnership with the NFL.
She first shared a report that said Jay-Z convinced the league to donate $100 million to criminal justice movements.
She later responded to a fan who compared the NFL to the KKK.
They wrote,
”It’s like the KKK giving money to the black community and laughing to see how far we get while they keep doing what they do.”
She responded,
“But do you agree that $100 million goes along way with legal aid for people who wouldn’t otherwise. So even if what you say is true is what you do with that money that makes a difference is it better to just continue to complain and not do a thing but do a lot of talking and being negative. If the KKK gave $100 million to civil rights I would take that money and use it to help the conditions of black people and who would be laughing then? Stop being a crab in a barrel.”
