Cardi B Was Just Joking About Starting GoFundMe For ‘Tiger King’ Star Joe Exotic: I Was Just Playing!
Update #2 (March 31st). It turns out that Cardi B was just joking about starting a GoFundMe to help Joe Exotic. This week, she responded to stories circulating about this writing:
Omg I was just playing I do love him tho and he deff needed better representation .oooooooooooooooooo here Kitty Kitty
Original Story: It looks like Cardi B is invested in Netflix’s newest star Joe Exotic in more ways than one.
The Grammy-Award winning rapper started binge-watching Tiger King, Netflix’s latest number 1 project, on Friday (March 27).
The seven-part series tells the story of Joseph Maldonado-Passage (a.k.a. Joe Exotic), who proudly says he’s the largest tiger breeder in the country. But he also has an enemy in Carole Baskin. Described as the “Mother Teresa of Cats”, she works for Big Cat Rescue and is on a mission to shut him down.
It’s safe to say Cardi B is Team Joe as she tweeted while she caught up on the show.

She then defended Joe Exotic.

Cardi B later vowed to start a GoFundMe for him.

She also possibly clarified that she wasn’t referring to Presidential candidate Joe Biden.

She also stood up for Joe on Instagram.
