The newly announced engagement couple rapper Jeezy, 42, and daytime talk host Jeannie Mai, 41, can’t keep their hands off of each other since revealing their plans to tie the knot last Monday (April 6th).

Fast forward to Saturday (April 11th), the adorably love birds shared a clip while in quarantine together with Mai’s mother. In the video, the couple gets cozy to the 1980 classic “Say Yes,” by Lakeside featured on comedic Mike Epps’ quarantine playlist.

In an second clip, Jeezy and Mai jig to the sounds of the rapper’s latest track called “Poppin,’ from his 2020, ‘Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision.’

The couple shared a silly breakfast moment over fruit, waffles, and bacon with Instagram Easter filters

As previously reported, “The Real,” co-host broke her silence on their engagement with a snapshot of the two all smiles on the beach and added the caption,

“I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life loving you….YES[ring emoji]
Thank you, everyone, for celebrating this journey with us. We are praying love over everyone from here.”

A rep for Jeannie Mai said the plan was for Jeezy to propose overseas, but had to take another route thanks to flight restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The rep shared:

“Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose. Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor.”

According to reports, Jeezy got down on one knee to propose to the daytime chat show co-host on March 27 after six months of going public with their relationship.

Mai recently shared her thoughts on her YouTube channel on finding love again. She says,

“When I actually sat down on November 28, 2018 with Jay ,the minute I sat down we locked eyes. You guys, when I say the minute, a minute is even too long — the millisecond that I saw his eyes I just like immediately knew that he was special.”

She tears up as she continues,

“I knew that he had like a.. I just saw this like crazy kindness in his eyes and this humility. He like me, hasn’t made the best choices in life. This didn’t always turn out the way it was supposed to, but in our careers we look like we have all the answers. We look like yo, these people can’t possibly live a day being unhappy. But I could see right away that he had been broken like me. It was insane. So, I was able to connect with that. We are great at where we are at right now, as far as spending each day to unveil more of each other, and appreciate it.

As reported, this will be Mai’s second marriage who divorced first husband, Freddy Harteis in 2018 after a decade of marriage.
