Ne-Yo’s Wife Crystal Smith Posts Cryptic Message Amid Reports They’ve Called Off Divorce

Ne-Yo’s estranged wife Crystal Smith posted a cryptic message to her Instagram amid reports that she and her husband Ne-Yo are ending their divorce according to BOSSIP.

theJasmineBRAND exclusively revealed in February 2020 that Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay were splitting and getting ready to file for divorce.

Later, Ne- Yo confirmed their split, stating:

“It’s slowly but surely becoming public knowledge that myself and my wife have decided to go ahead and get a divorce. It’s not a sad thing, it’s more of a us realizing long story short, I’m never gonna talk bad about her.”

He continued:

“I’m not that person. There’s nothing bad to say about her. She’s a fantastic woman. She’s the mother of my children and she’s always gonna be that….Long story short, she’s got demons just like everyone else, just like me and we realize our demons don’t mesh  — and until the both of get ahold of our personal demons, it’s gonna be just difficult for us to stay married. That’s the end of that chapter, not the end of that book.”

According to Bossip, Ne-Yo filed divorce papers late last month, alleging that his marriage was “irretrievably broken,” and there was no hope for reconciliation. He asked for joint legal custody of their children and petitioned the judge to enforce their prenuptial agreement as part of the breakup. However, last week, he asked the judge to throw the case out, without prejudice, which means he can refile it again.

Now it seems that Crystal Smith may be responding to reports. Crystal posted on Instagram:

“Ssssshhhh? You’re telling my business wrong. “
