In addition, the former Oakland Raider took his giving mood all around the city. On the same day, Marshawn Lynch took the time to visit the local Highland Hospital in the Bay Area, reportedly donating more than 10,000 masks to their doctors and nurses.

Marshawn also reportedly handed out 7,500 masks to local food banks and housing communities. His mother, Delisa Lynch shared her delight for her son’s generous donation saying,
“Just keeps me proud!! Happy birthday Marshawn.”

Former Raiders CEO Amy Trask weighed in on Marshawn’s generosity by pointing out ways of staying low key,
“This is just one of the countless things Marshawn Lynch does (without fanfare) to help others.”
This is just one of the countless things @MoneyLynch does (without fanfare) to help others – this is why I get angry when I hear or read references to him as a thug – if you think he’s a thug (and he’s not), let us all be thugs – thanks @957thegame for sharing this – and hi. https://t.co/ZtaJBLY8pf

The Oakland native came out of retirement in 2017 to play for his hometown. He gained 1,267 yards and 10 touchdowns in 21 starts across two seasons in Oakland before retiring again in April 2019. However, he again ended his retirement to help the Seahawks in one regular-season game and two playoff games last season.
