Tinashe Enlists Twitter’s Help To Expose Corrupt Gov’t Officials In L.A.: Cancel Them!
Singer Tinashe has asked “Twitter Stans” to join her and help cancel local corrupted government personnel. Earlier this week, the 27-year-old songwriter recently posted
“F#CK BEING AFRAID“.
The message comes after George Floyd, an unarmed black man, was killed by Minneapolis police officers. After George Floyd’s death, protests erupted within the city after none of the involved officers were arrested, for George Floyd’s death.

Tinashe has since used her platform and voice to advocate for #BLACKLIVESMATTER, and wants help exposing crooked government officials. She wrote,
“We need to start Naming corrupt local government officials and CANCEL THEM. This is more than just Trump and twitter great at cancelling people. Twitter stans, your time has come.”

Two hours after her initial post, Tinashe posted the first official she would like to be canceled, Jackie Lacey, District Attorney of Los Angeles County.
According to Tinashe, Jackie Lacey allegedly refuses to arrest cops for murder, pointing out that while police have allegedly killed 600 people during her time in office, only one officer has been charged.
“Jackie Lacey LA DA,” Tinashe said. “Refuses to prosecute killer cops. Over 600 people have been killed by police while she is in office, [and] only 1 has been charged…..
SHES CANCELLED.”

Tuesday (June 2nd), Tinashe spoke with Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani of NBC News, on how white and minority people can work together during the nationwide racial equality protest.
