J.Lo’s Son Urged Her To Protest In Honor of George Floyd
Jennifer Lopez, who is the 50-year-old mother of twelve-year-old twins Max & Elle, shares that her son inspired her to become more socially involved. The pop singer says that her son, came to her and suggested that they go out and protest against what took place in Minneapolis that resulted in the murder of George Floyd. The twelve-year-old approached her and said:
“You know Mom, since you have a following like some of my YouTuber gamers and they ask us to support things and we do, you should do that for George Floyd.”
Lopez agreed with Max, as she had been making plans to do something prior to him bringing the matter to her attention. The “Hustlers” movie star then asked the twins if they would like to help by making signs to protest and they excitedly agreed.
Hours later J. Lo is spotted in downtown Los Angeles among thousands of protesters with her husband A.Rod by her side, as they proudly carried signs that read: LET’S GET LOUD FOR BLACK LIVES MATTER, referencing one her smash hit singles, as well as another sign that read: “BLM #EnoughIsEnough.” Lopez & Rodriguez were fully masked and in sunglasses as they chant:
“No justice! No peace!”
Lopez has since posted a powerful black and white video on her Instagram of she and A. Rod marching in unison as they take a stand for what is right:
“We must take a stand for what we believe in and fight against the injustices in this world. We continue to peacefully protest until there is change.”
