Phaedra Parks & Her Boyfriend Medina Islam Haven’t Had Sex Yet

Former RHOA cast member Phaedra Parks is off the market again and dating actor Medina Islam, known for his role as Quincy in Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots. 

The two have both publicly shown their love for one another publicly online.

The reality star says that she met her new man on a dating app, and have been going strong for nearly a year. Still, the former peach holder said she and Medina Islam haven’t consummated their relationship yet. While gearing up for her new reality show role on WeTV’s “Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition”, Phaedra Parks confessed,

Medina and I have never had sex.

She went public with their relationship in June 2019 and said,

“You know, he used to be on a show here so we have a lot of mutual friends. One of my best friends is one of his best friends as well.”

Phaedra Parks says that Medina Islam is different from the other “bad boys” she’s dated before.

“He’s a really good guy. He’s very calming and soothing and mild-mannered. I always dealt with the bad boys, and he’s very opposite from any guy I’ve ever dated. So that’s refreshing.”

She was previously married to Apollo Nida, who’s the father of her two sons and completed a jail stint last summer.

Phaedra, who currently lives in Atlanta, said of her long-distance relationship with Medina:

“It’s hard doing the long distance, especially bi-costal because L.A. is a super long flight, outside of just the time difference. But we’ve been making it work! He’s an actor so he’s [in] New York quite a bit, and then he comes to Atlanta, and I get to L.A. to see him as well.”
