Will Smith – Fans Speculate That He Addressed Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Affair With August Alsina In 2018 Clip

Some fans are speculating that Will Smith may have hinted trouble in his marriage prior to this year. In a clip that was posted in 2018, Will Smith spoke on the nature of his relationship to wife Jada Pinkett-Smith. He begins by saying:

“So me and Jada was reflecting about love and I asked her I said what does she think was one of the biggest revelations that she had about love. She said “you cannot make a person happy”. I thought that was a real deep idea….  you can make a person feel good, but whether or not a person is happy is out of your control.”

He continued:

“I remembered the day I said to Jada that “I retire from trying to make you happy. I need you to go make yourself happy and just prove to me that it is even possible.”We decided that we were going to find our individual internal private separate joy, then we were going to present ourselves to the relationship and to each other already happy.”

We previously reported (July 10) that Jada Pinkett-Smith admitted to having some form of a romantic relationship with August Alsina. While discussing the situation to Will she says,

“I got into a different kind of entanglement with August. One thing I want to clean up… about you giving ‘permission’ which is… the only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself”.

She continued:

“But what August was probably trying to communicate because I could see how he could see it as permission because we were separated amicably, and I think he wanted to make it clear he’s not a homewrecker because he’s not.”

When asked by Will to clarify her meaning of entanglement, Jada replied:

“Yes, it was a relationship absolutely.”
