NBA YoungBoy’s Brother, Rapper BWay Yungy Shot In Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge rapper BWay Yungy (17), real name Jeffery Tate, who is currently awaiting trial for second-degree murder, was reportedly shot and is in stable condition. As of the publishing of this article, the details of the shooting are unknown but multiple sources have confirmed that the rising Louisiana rapper was among the multiple victims shot during an incident in East Baton Rouge at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Friday, July 24. The Baton Rouge Police Department reported that one of the victims, believed to be BWay Yungy, suffered from minor injuries and was transferred to a local hospital for treatment. The other victims have not been identified and the severity of their injuries have not been released.

BWay Yungy and his brotherĀ Davaughn Tate (18), who are the younger brothers on NBA YoungBoy, were taken in custody after the murder of an East Baton Rouge, Louisiana high school studentĀ Javon Brown in December 2019. Bway Yungy and Davaughn Tate were both charged with second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
