T.I.’s Daughter, Deyjah Harris, Posts Cryptic Messages To Parents: Watch How You Speak To Your Children…I Still Love You But From A Distance

T.I. & Tiny’s Friends & Family Hustle star Deyjah Harris has posted several cryptic messages, leaving Twitter users wondering if she is referring to her dad, rapper T.I.

She tweeted Sunday (July 26th),

“watch how you speak to your children. i don’t care how old they are, they still deserve the same respect that you expect in return.”

She added on Monday (July 27th),

“i still love you .. but from a distance. not because i don’t care about you, but more so for the sake of my own well-being and inner peace.”

She also responded to one user who spoke on some parents in Asian culture.

Deyjah Harris responded:

“yes i know exactly what you mean and i hate that …. but the good thing about this generation is that we will all be much better parents and know what to do/say or what NOT to do/say to our children, no matter what age they are.”

Deyjah Harris’s cryptic tweets come months after her father admitted that he accompanies her to doctor’s appointments to ensure her hymen is still intact.

Last year (Nov 6), T.I. stopped by “Ladies Like Us” podcast in an episode that aired the previous day (Nov. 5). When asked if he’s had the “sex talk” with his daughters, he had a response that not many were expecting when it comes to his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah. He said,

“We have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen. Yes I go with her. I go with her. So let me tell you, this one time we go, I think this might have been after her 16th birthday… and this is what we do. Right after the birthday we celebrate, usually like the day after the party, she’s enjoying her gifts, I put a sticky note on the door “Gyno tomorrow 9:30.”

“So we’ll go and sit down and the doctor will come and talk. And the doctor is maintaining a high level of professionalism. ‘Well you know sir, in order to share information…’ I say ‘Deyjah they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you wouldn’t want me to know? Okay. See doc, ain’t no problem.’”

Deyjah also opened up about the widespread controversy surrounding her father’s remarks about her virginity during an episode of VH1’s “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.”

In a clip spreading across social media, Deyjah says,

“My dad even jokes with King about becoming a baby daddy. He would never joke like that with me…He always plays victim, honestly.”

Deyjah added,

“I just don’t really care to be around him right now. I’ll be a better parent.  I mean, I’m not saying he’s a bad parent, I’m not saying that, but I’m just saying when it comes to stuff like this, like, I’m just gonna be more connected mentally, emotionally, all of that.”
