Brandy Hints At “Moesha” Reboot: I’m In Discussions With The Right People To Make It Happen
The twitterverse has been buzzing about the first 6 seasons of hit 90’s sitcom Moesha landing on Netflix last week. The series’ star Brandy is hinting that their may be a reboot in the works. She says,
“In discussions with the right people to make it happen.”
The sitcom, aired from 1996 to 2001 on UPN, and Brandy says that she is open to a reboot of the show.
“I’m completely open to it. I would love to experience that. I just want for everyone to know that I’m open to it and I’m in discussions with the right people to make it happen.”
This isn’t the first time that Brandy has hinted to a Moesha reboot, in 2019, she confirmed that the show would be making a return
“here to solidify that we’re gonna bring Moesha back.”
Sheryl Lee Ralph, who played Dee Mitchell on the show, also has been hinting at Myles’ character (played byMarcus T. Paulk), making a return to the show, who was kidnapped in the series finale of the show.
“Remember we don’t know IF Miles came back.”

Although the show has only been on the streaming service for a short period of time, the sitcom is the seventh most-watched TV show of the day, and the 10th most-watched piece of content overall on Netflix.
Netflix is also releasing a list of more 90’s favorites including, The Parkers, a spin-off to Moesha starring Kim Parker actor Countess Vaughn alongside Mo’Nique, which is streaming from October 1st. Check out the announcement below:
Brandy also says that she would be interested in doing another duet with Monica, on the heels of their 90’s hit ‘The Boy Is Mine. She said,
““I believe she’s down for it,” but added it would have to be the right song: “I think for her it’s also something that has to be a celebration as well.”
