Keke Palmer Possibly Teases New ‘Millennial’ Talk Show, Asks Social Media For Co-Host Options

Actress, performer, and TV host Keke Palmer, might have just lost her TV gig to the coronavirus pandemic.  But it looks like she might have a new idea in the works.

ABC announced that they would be suspending her show Strahan, Sara and Keke in March, shortly after the network replaced the show with a news program about the global coronavirus pandemic called What You Need to Know. In July, it was announced that Strahan, Sara and Keke would being canceled altogether. Keke Palmer previously said that she expected the show might get canceled.

“[It was] expected. Because, here’s the thing, when the pandemic hit – that’s what was on all our minds: pandemic, and corona, and understanding COVID. So I knew that if our show did come back, it’d have to be much, much, much later, ’cause our show is really about an audience. If you think about it, that’s what we do. We do news with a little bit of entertainment.”

She added,

“It’s really fun conversations and light-heartedness. So with the times, some of the conversations change and that kind of leaves ‘SSK’ out. So I expected it.”

The actress posted a tweet today (Aug. 10th) that has many wondering if she is taking matters into her own hands, and creating a new millennial version of ‘The View.’ She solicited ideas for who her fans would be interested in seeing beside her on a panel.

“If I were to create a millennial “The View”, who would you want to be my co-hosts?”

Hundreds of suggestions came in under her post.
