Idris Elba Says He & His Wife Did NOT Welcome A Baby: That’s Not True

Update #1: Idris Elba says that he and Sabrina have NOT welcomed a baby boy. He tweeted today (Sept. 14th):

Sab @Sabrinadhowre and i thank you for all the congratulations but we haven’t had a baby.. .. that’s not true 

He continued,

Original Story: Congratulations are in order for Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre. According to Pop Sugar and ET Canada, the couple have welcomed their first child together. The 48-year-old actor and wife welcomed a baby boy. He is said to have confirmed the news while promoting his new film, Concrete Cowboy. He stated,

“So, it really resonates with me, I’m a father of two boys, and definitely I can’t wait for my youngest to see this film.”

Idris has two other children from previous relationships: an 18-year-old daughter Isan and a 6-year-old son Winston.

Idris and Sabrina became engaged in 2018.

They married in 2019.
