Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Endorses Joe Biden & Kamala Harris, Receives Backlash On Social Media
WWE legend and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, made his first-ever presidential endorsement on Sunday (Sept. 27), when he announced his support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The Rock shared a seven minute video where he explained his endorsement and reasons for supporting Biden and Harris.
“As a registered Independent for years now with centrist ideologies, I do feel that Vice President Biden and Senator Harris are the best choice to lead our country, and I am endorsing them to become President, and Vice President, of our United States. Progress takes courage, humanity, empathy, strength, grit, kindness and respect. Being kind and respectful to one another will always matter,”
The Rock said.
As a political independent & centrist, I’ve voted for both parties in the past. In this critical presidential election, I’m endorsing @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris.

The video announcement also included a brief interview The Rock had with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. While speaking to the pair, The Rock said,
“You guys are both obviously experienced to lead. You’ve done great things. Joe, you’ve had such an incredible career. You’ve led in my opinion, with great compassion, and heart, and drive, but also soul. You and I talked about that in the past and how important soul is.”
The Rock also complimented Kamala Harris as being “smart and tough”. He says,
“I’ve seen you in those hearings and in my opinion you are a certified bad***.”
The now viral video has already received 6.9 million views on Twitter. While some fans are supportive of The Rock’s endorsement, many of his fans strongly disapprove.
