Update #1 (Oct. 13th): Additional details have been released regarding Fivio Foreign’s arrest. According to reports, he is still being held in jail on charges that he assaulted his 24-year-old pregnant girlfriend over the weekend. Reportedly, he was arrested at his residence in Edgewater, following the alleged incident. A judge ordered that he remain held in the county lockup pending further court proceedings. Reportedly, his girlfriend is pregnant with their second child.
Original Story: Fivio Foreign (real name Maxie Lee Ryles III) has reportedly been arrested. While very few details have been released about his detainment, the 30-year-old rapper was allegedly arrested over the weekend for simple assault in New Jersey.
In June 2019, he rose to fame with his single “Big Drip”, which received a remix with Lil Baby and Quavo.
He is signed to Mase’s RichFish Records and Columbia Records.
In May 2020, he was featured on Drake’s song “Demons”, which charted at 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning him his first Billboard-charting single. Later that month, he collaborated with Lil Tjay and Pop Smoke on the song “Zoo York”, which peaked at 65 on the Hot 100.
