Fantasia And Her Husband Are Expecting Their First Child Together After Experiencing Fertility Issues 

Congratulations are in order for Fantasia and her husband, Kendall Taylor, who just recently shared that they’re expecting a baby together! Fantasia, born Fantasia Monique Barrino, shared the good news with her husband during their live streaming series called ‘Taylor Talks’ on November 24th. During the live stream, Fantasia stood up to reveal her pregnant bump to her viewers. The Grammy Award-winning artist said,

“Keep trying and you will conceive.”

She added,

“Listen, I was trying to hide it as long as I could from ya’ll but I can’t never hide it. With Dallas, my guy was big- huge. My mother-in-law was like ‘just wait’ I’m like ‘girl!'”

“So yeah, just keep on. I promise you. Just keep waiting on God. Because it was starting to like really depress me and him. [The doctors] were like my tubes were closed.”

Her husband also weighed in on how hard it was for them to get pregnant. He shared,

“[The doctors] kept talking about in vitro. They were gonna do artificial insemination. I remember sitting in that doctor’s office and I was like ‘I hear what y’all saying’ I said. But I know what God showed me.”

He continued,

“My wife kept getting tired of the ups and downs and the letdowns and we think we’re pregnant. I found her in the bathroom crying in the middle of the morning or the middle of the night. She was just like ‘Babe I can’t do this no more. Let’s just let them do it.’ I was like ‘I’m not feeling that.’ God showed us a baby I was like ‘I’m standing tall. I’m a man of God.’”

Fantasia added to his story and said,

“I was like ‘We not trying. Let’s forget this.’ And then I started having just all kinds of weird feelings and I took one test and I didn’t believe it so I took 6!”

The pair also shared that Fantasia is about two months into her pregnancy. Fantasia gave birth to her first child in 2001 and her second child 10 years later in 2011. She married Kendall Taylor in 2015. This will be the couple’s first child together.
