In a post on Twitter that she screenshot to Instagram, she wrote a fiery message to Warner Records saying,
“I am extremely disappointed in my label WBR for prematurely releasing a single I was so excited about. I feel disrespected. I’m hands on with ALL of my creative & had such a dope rollout for “best friends”. The thirst for clout & $ is real & it overrides the artists’ art.”
She followed up her tweet stating that her label also released the wrong version of the song writing,
“The wrong version at that smh. Like wtf???”

The “Tap In” rapper adds that she put a lot of work into the “girl anthem” that features fellow rapper Doja Cat, which added to her disappointment of the early release of the song.
“We put so much work into the visual & we shot for days for this super cinematic girl anthem. And for this to happen? wow….”

Before going to bed Saweetie wrote one more message to her fans, thanking them for dealing with the “bs,” adding that it means a lot to her.
“Icy gang always dealing with the bs with me no matter what it means so much. I LOVE y’all. I’m bout to fix this nail & go to sleep. Goodnight”
