Dionne Warwick Salutes Megan Thee Stallion’s Grammy Nominations, Says She Doesn’t Want To Know What A ‘Hot Girl’ Is
You’re never too old to be a “hot girl” or support one. Just ask legendary singer Dionne Warwick.
Dionne Warwick,80, tweeted her support for rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who coined the popular “hot girl” term last year, as she was nominated for four Grammy Awards this year. She wrote:
“Good things to good people. @theestallion #GRAMMYnoms”

When asked about being a “hot girl” herself, the iconic singer responded:
“I don’t know what a “hot girl” is, but women support women in this house! I am happy to see kind people receive recognition. That’s all. (I’m turning 80. Please do not tell me what a “hot girl” is”)

She also complimented Megan Thee Stallion and wrote:
“I know that she is a smart young lady with a good heart!”
Even though she told social media she didn’t want an explanation, her replies and mentions were soon flooded by helpful fans. She responded in a tweet that has received more than 20,000 likes:
“Thank you for telling me what a “hot girl” is, even though I specifically asked you not to.”
