Tyrese Denies Locking Estranged Wife & Daughter Out Of Their Home Amid Divorce Drama
The breakup between Tyrese and his estranged wife is heating up as she alleges the singer changed the locks on their home.
Although Tyrese and his estranged wife Samantha Lee Gibson announced they were headed for divorce just last week, it turns out she allegedly filed in September.
The divorce petition reportedly states that weeks prior, Tyrese cut his then-wife off financially and allegedly left her and their two-year-old daughter Soraya locked out of the family’s Georgia home.
In court documents, Tyrese denies her claims but also says he has a problem with Samantha Lee Gibson’s request for $20,000 a month in child support, stating the number is “unreasonably high.”
Tyrese went into detail about the split and said he flew home from filming a movie in late August and was met with an intense three-hour conversation with his wife. Samantha Lee Gibson allegedly threatened to call the cops on the singer during the disagreement.
Because of “multiple public incidents involving police brutality and racially motivated killings of unarmed African-American people,” Tyrese says that he left the house in an Uber to avoid being a part of any police interaction.

Tyrese and Samantha Lee Gibson announced they were ending their marriage on Dec. 29th.
