The Love & War singer responded and shut down the idea, but it wasn’t because of their ongoing feud. She explained,
“Absolutely not…I only have 7top ten records. & 4 Grammy nominations. Let me win a few of them first and then double my hits”

She then thanked producer Sean Garrett, who replied with her catalogue, suggesting she has enough hits to do the battle.
“I love u Sean but I don’t have enough record yet”

Sean Garrett was one of the first artists to participate in a Verzuz. He battled The Dream in March 2020 in the earlier days of the special.

As for her Grammy nods, Tamar Braxton has been nominated for the coveted award four times — three times in 2014 for Urban Contemporary Album for Love and War, and R&B Performance and R&B Song for her hit single of the same name.
K. Michelle hasn’t responded to the request for her to battle Tamar Braxton.
