Rae Sremmurd’s 19-Year-Old Brother Has Been Charged In Father’s Murder
Rae Sremmurd’s half-brother has been charged with killing their stepfather. As previously reported, Floyd Sullivan, who is the stepfather of popular rap duo Rae Sremmurd (Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee), was fatally shot on January 6th of this year in Mississippi. Following the shooting, Slim Jximmi and Swae Lee’s younger brother, 19-year-old Michael Brown, was the only person of interest in the tragedy and was reportedly being held for psychiatric evaluation. It’s now being reported that Michael Brown has officially been charged with first-degree murder over the death of his biological father Floyd Sullivan. If convicted, Michael Brown reportedly faces life in prison. A court date has yet to be set.
According to reports, Michael Brown’s mother, Bernadette Walker, has previously said that she thought her son, who was struggling with schizoaffective disorder, stopped taking his medication before the shooting incident took place. Other reports claim he had been having episodes with her before moving in with his father.
On January 7th Swae Lee shared online how his stepfather’s death was affecting him.
