‘RHOP’ Star Wendy Osefo Wants To Join ‘The Talk’ Amid Sharon Osbourne Controversy: I Hear It May Have An Open Seat Soon
Wendy Osefo quickly became a fan favorite on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac after joining the reality show in its fifth season.
Now, she has another TV gig on her mind.
She tweeted recently,
“So I hear @TheTalkCBS may be having an open seat soon. Who can connect me to the right person to fill that seat?! #ClaimingIt“
She’s no stranger to the small screen. The Johns Hopkins University professor has shared her commentary on networks like MSNBC, Fox News, ABC, Fox Business, and BBC.
The Talk co-hosts currently include Elaine Welteroth, Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Amanda Kloots.
Wendy Osefo’s plea comes amid news that Sharon Osbourne could lose her job after her recent remarks sparked controversy.
She got into a heated exchange with Sheryl Underwood while defending Piers Morgan.
Piers Morgan was previously accused of making racist remarks while discussing Meghan Markle’s sit-down with Oprah Winfrey.
The show has been on hiatus since then after CBS extended the break twice as Sharon Osbourne faces more allegations. Former The Talk co-host Holly Robinson Peete said Sharon Osbourne allegedly called her “too ghetto.”
Leah Remini, who served as a co-host in the earlier days of the show, also said Sharon Osbourne referred to Asian co-host Julie Chen as “slanty eyes” and “wonton.”
New reports have alleged that Sharon Osbourne could get fired and receive a hefty settlement.
