Yung Miami Celebrates Her Mom Being Released From Jail After Serving 5 Years
City Girls rapper, Yung Miami shared some exciting news with her fans over the weekend. On Friday (Mar.26), she took to Twitter to announce that her mother was being released from jail after after serving a five-year sentence.

Yung Miami went on to reflect on the hard times she faced when her mother first went to jail. She wrote,
“My Mom left me with 2 kids plus Jai I was 22 going on 23 I didn’t know what to do I had to figure it out. Look at me now God is so good.”

Yung Miami’s mother, Keenya Young, had been charged with first-degree murder for the death of Emily Robinson while trying to flee the scene after an armed robbery. Young shoplifted and then drove away in a car that crashed into another car, causing the accidental death of Emily Robinson. Young received a sentence of five years plus 10 years probation.
On Saturday (Mar.27) Yung Miami took to Instagram to share a video celebrating her mother’s release from prison. She captioned the post,
“Welcome back.”

So far it appears Keenya Young is enjoying her freedom and is already being spoiled by her daughter. Yung Miami has gifted her mom with a brand Mercedes. The car was originally purchased in 2020 while Young was still in jail.
