Keri Hilson Says Waiting Until Marriage To Have Sex Is ‘Not Realistic’
Keri Hilson doesn’t seem to be a fan of celibacy.
The singer and actress, who stars in Lifetime’s Lust: A Seven Deadly Sins Story shared her thoughts on lust and sex in a recent interview, and said she doesn’t think waiting for marriage to have sex is “realistic.” She told Atlanta Black Star,
“Nope. Not realistic. I don’t think many people are doing that [waiting until marriage to have sex] but kudos to those that are.
She continued,
“I hope that whatever it is you’re seeking out of doing it or not, I hope it turns out exactly the way you’re expecting. I don’t know many people who have waited.”
Keri Hilson leads the movie as Tiffanie Cooper, who is getting ready to marry the man of her dreams Damon King(Tobias Truvillion) but is tempted by his best man Trey Taylor (played by singer Durrell “Tank” Babbs).
She added that she can relate to her character as they’ve both faced temptations.
“Temptation is a part of life. You know there’s no man or woman walking this earth that’s not tempted. Maybe the frequency changes, but yeah, you’re not human if you’re not tempted by something at some point.”
Also in the interview, she spoke on her experience of filming the project.
“It was a lot of fun for me. I go to do a lot of kissing, a lot of laying in bed with two beautiful men.”
